Bridget Riley Artwork Research

This artwork by Bridget Riley, an Op Artist, is titled "Big Blue", painted in 1981-82.

It is appoximately 234 x 201cm in size and is oil over synthetic polymer paint on linen.

The idea behind this artwork came afer Riley returned to England after a trip to Egypt. She was inspired by the landscape's intense light and colours.
